These guys have been tearing their workouts up!

These two MMA fighters are getting ready for their bouts within the next few weeks and are training diligently with FOCUS and DETERMINATION.

It’s always said that, “Perfect practice makes perfect.”

We believe that to be true!

We want the athlete to put just as much focus and determination into the workout as they do in their fights.

Strength and Conditioning For NE Wrestlers and Military Personnel

Here is a hardcore strength and conditioning workout we had one of our wrestlers and military personnel go through the other day to work on their power and conditioning.

These guys work RELENTLESSLY!

We expect nothing less at The Forged Athlete Gym here in Omaha NE!

We can’t say much more about their work ethic and how much they put into getting things done!

This is what makes a champion both in competition and in life.

You’ll see these gys going through some explosive type movement for timed intervals.

Not easy to do!

Here’s their workout:

1A) Power Pulls x 40 secs x 3 rounds

1B) Grappler 1 Arm Power Press x 40 secs x 3 rounds

2A) Band Bear Crawls x 1 min x 3 rounds

2B) Sandbag Get ups x 1 min x 3 rounds

3A) Battling Rope Intervals 3 rounds x 15/15 work-rest ratios by 2 mins total

4A) Sled Drags x 3 rounds

Hardcore Conditioning For NE Wrestlers and Military Personnel

The Forged Athlete Omaha – Bags, Bells, and A Rope

What’s going on!

Hope you’re staying warm!

It’s cold here in Nebraska but that WILL NOT keep us from training hard.

There can be no excuses!  You must get stronger EVERYDAY.  You’re either getting stronger or weaker – you never stay the same.

Live by that rule!  Always strive to get a little better each day.  Even if its a little bit, make sure you’re stepping in the right direction.

Some of the members of The Forged Athlete have been taking steps in the right direction for sure.

They don’t find excuses.  They find a way to get things done.

Here’s a sick workout they just did this last week that really tested thier limits.  I like to call it “Bags, Bells, and A Rope.”

We use all the different tools to get them strong in this workout.

Here it is:

1A) Rope Climb or Recline Rope Climb 5 x max

1B) KB Double Clean and Press 5 x 5

1C) Sandbag Clean to Zercher Lunge 5 x 5/leg

* throw band pull aparts in throughout between the exercises and sets

We ended the workout with 8 straight mins of sled/prowler

It was a good one.  Simple and effective.
