The Playground Tour Week 1
What up gents! It is to my great honor to announce to all of your loyal forged followers about our upcoming “playground tour”. What we will be doing is heading around Omaha to scope out any and all playgrounds that we can get a forged workout in on.
Playground training is BRUTAL! It may look easy and seem like it’s for kids, but if you’ve never done an underground playground workout, you’re in for a treat! The equipment we use takes simple bodyweight exercises and turns them into killer variations of difficult bodyweight exercises. Pushes, pulls, jumps, we did it all in this first episode of the playground tour.
We will be posting every Sunday, a workout you can do and try at any of your local playgrounds or where ever may find equipment similar to what we use.
This episode we pretty much free styled the workout and just did a bunch or different variations of push ups, pull ups, ab exercises, dips, and other exercises. Sometimes you get the best workouts in when you “Just Do It”. But, its always better to plan out your normal workouts so you have a long term plan. Playground workouts for us serve as good “off” day to really get a good pump in and really let loose.
Watch the video and take notes on the different variations we use. Use you own imagination and try different things. Overtime you’ll get super strong and jacked for sure. Go out and get yourself yolked with Playground Workouts!
Stay Forged Strong
Man did I have a crazy weekend of workouts. Trav and I decided to hit a workout on Sunday. It was all about trying new things and having some fun. It was funny because we really did not plan on killing it during the workout, but soon after I started messing around on all the physical fitness equipment that all changed.
At a local preschool in Omaha we found some awesome equipment to train on. As soon as we started climbing on allthat stuff it occurred to me that this day was going to be one of the best upper body workouts I had. It was crazy on how much that stuff pumped me up. I was so jacked on all the pulling pushing and climbing that I almost felt lethargic.
